Kiantha Duncan's life sits at the junction of compounded trauma and a divine calling.
The trifecta of having experienced 10 of 10 Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs), a childhood that included the Foster Care System and teen parenthood propelled Kiantha into an adulthood of healing and a 30 year career of Soulful Leadership.
Kiantha fully embodies authenticity, transparency and vulnerability while supporting individuals, communities and organizations to do the same.
Kiantha walks side by side with others as they do the hard work of healing and traversing the ever rising tides of personal trauma. Kiantha’s soul is tied to helping others live their fullest lives. Connecting people through storytelling is embodied in everything she touches and writes.
Kiantha bravely invites others to explore the intricacies of intersectionality through a trauma informed lens. Her Soulful Living Brand is evident in her contributions to numerous esteemed publications in the Inland Northwest, including the Black Lens Newspaper and her “Soulful Living” column in the Spokane Coeur d’Alene Living Magazine. Her "Dear Kiantha" column in the Spokesman Review provides a platform and guide for living a soulful existence.
